the art of depossession with compassion

This workshop is for shamanic practitioners or individuals who have considerable experience walking the shamanic path.  Please note that is not a workshop for those seeking healing.

Compassionate depossession is a non-heroic, deep, shamanic practice that strives to provide sovereignty to those “overshadowed by a suffering being” as well as the possessing being.  “Being overshadowed by a suffering being” can show up in various forms such as emotional distress, illness, depression, recurring accidents, substance abuse or suicidal tendencies, just to name a few.

During this workshop, we will connect with an array of helping spirits, psychopomp beings, and the field itself, for support in aiding the transition of those suffering beings. Introducing and supporting suffering beings through appropriate thresholds to their next evolutionary reality is heartfelt throughout the different realities and dimensions of the universe.  

This workshop is for individuals who have an advanced shamanic practice, as it requires the capacity to stay present and grounded with a solid connection to their spiritual allies.  As such, participants are required to hold compassion and a felt sense of safety for the person they are working with, the attached suffering being, themself, and the energetic space they are in. 

We will learn how to develop and grow these skills together, therefore having completed the workshop of "Curse Unraveling" is a prerequisite for all participants.    

 In the Shapeshifting workshop - part 1, we learned that this ancient practice, which is present in almost every shamanic tradition in the world, is deeply spiritual, subtle and mysterious. The teachings in this workshop are based on many years of Dr. Claude Poncelet 's personal work and research.

In part 2 of this workshop, we will deepen the experience of shapeshifting which, with practice, helps to increase our awareness of the unity of the universe; the sacredness and interconnection of all things. It is through this state of union, where compassion is born, that we can be of service to our community, and to the Earth.

Over this three-day workshop, we will further explore shapeshifting into trees, mountains, oceans and rocks. We will experience what's known as “multiple shapeshifting” and we will examine the nature and relationship between ordinary and non-ordinary reality, in addition to the difference between shamanic consciousness and pure consciousness.

This advanced workshop enables us to work more effectively in the middle world with our spirit allies, and to deepen our relationship with them, in order to move forward on our shamanic path.

Prerequisites: Completion of Shapeshifting - part 1 workshop.

 Who is this training for? 

Shamanic practitioners or individuals seeking this ancient wisdom while having the ability to make shamanic journeys with a rattle. 

During this weekend we will dive into the history, and explore the resolution, of curses, incantations and collective thought forms. We will look at past lives, our current family lineage, and the power of language in our daily lives, including words and/or internal thoughts. 

Whether intentional or not, words and thought forms are powerful means that can have a lasting impact on one or more individuals. Sometimes they can follow generations, often appearing as repetitive or unhealthy patterns affecting individuals or family systems. 

This course is intended for shamanic practitioners or people with the basic skills to do shamanic journeys. We will work with the help of various spiritual allies, who will help us detect, diagnose, resolve and unravel curses or thought-forms; from self-imposed to more complex generational or past life curses, while providing the essential care for complete energetic healing. 

This workshop is a prerequisite for Compassionate Depossession, and derives from the pioneering teachings of Betsy Bergstrom.
